Engineering Scalable Solutions that Shape the Future of Digital Experiences

- Full-Stack Software Engineer · Scalable, user-focused solutions
I engineer full-stack software solutions that create measurable business value. From sleek, responsive frontends to resilient, scalable backends, I deliver applications that elevate user experience and streamline operations. My expertise spans cloud-native architectures, API-driven platforms, and interoperability standards — complemented by specialized knowledge in healthcare imaging, including DICOM/DICOMWeb.
Previously at FedEx, the world’s largest logistics and cargo airline, I was part of an agile development team supporting and modernizing an enterprise document management system, ensuring reliability and scalability for mission-critical global operations.
Featured Projects
More projects →DICOM Converter + OHIF Viewer
↗A full-stack healthcare imaging platform that ingests DICOM datasets from MIME bundles, validates and anonymizes them, logs pre/post headers for audit, and exposes DICOMweb endpoints for OHIF. Built with Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL (relational + JSONB), and Next.js + Chakra UI, fully containerized with Docker for reproducible dev, test, and prod deployments.
impact: Demonstrated end-to-end engineering of a production-grade medical imaging pipeline — including DICOMweb compliance, OHIF integration, audit-ready anonymization, and DevOps best practices. Delivered a scalable, secure, and portable solution that bridges backend services, database design, and modern UI, highlighting expertise in cloud-native architectures, healthcare interoperability, and full-stack development.
The Pokemon Tournament App
↗The Pokemon Tournament App is a Java Spring Boot application designed to simulate Pokemon tournaments with customizable configurations. It includes both frontend and backend components, with a PostgreSQL database for data persistence. This project is containerized using Docker, allowing easy setup and execution.
impact: Demonstrated full-stack engineering by integrating Spring Boot, React, and PostgreSQL; applied software engineering best practices in containerization, configuration management, and simulation design.
Peritoneal Dialysis Management
↗Full-stack healthcare app enabling patients to log dialysis metrics, track trends with analytics, and alert providers through a secure dashboard with risk flags and notifications.
impact: Delivered actionable insights for high-risk patients, improving adherence tracking and enabling providers to make timely, data-driven treatment decisions.
Research portfolio built for PhD outreach
My current research project centers on kinship verification, reproducible experimentation, and dataset-centered evaluation, while my broader PhD interests remain open across software engineering and computer science. The toolkit and manuscript below are designed to be easy to share with faculty evaluating research fit, technical depth, and long-term potential.
A draft manuscript centered on a unified research toolkit for kinship verification, bringing classical descriptors, metric-learning pipelines, deep models, and gated pair-representation learning into one reproducible experimental framework.
Unified experimentation across classical, metric-learning, deep, and gated pairwise models.
The work is positioned for PhD outreach: reproducible code, clear problem framing, and a manuscript professors can review quickly.
